Sioux Indians 1. The Sioux Indians lived in Wisconsin, Minesota, and North and South Dakota.
2. Orininally the Dakota and Lakota (Sioux) were corn farmers, as well as hunters. Once they got horses they gave up farming and followed the seasonal migrations of the buffalo.
